My story
I originally trained as a veterinarian, where I saw first-hand how animals were treated on factory farms. That experience changed the direction of my career. I knew I didn't want to pursue a conventional veterinary role; instead, I moved from private practice into the not-for-profit sector, where I felt I could make a greater impact for animals.
I started out as a researcher, moved into corporate engagement, then co-founded an organisation in the UK before stepping up to lead the international charity in the US (where I am now based).
And that’s where I burnt out.
Throughout my career, I'd experienced cycles of intense work, pushing myself to the edge of burnout before somehow finding my way back. This time was different. The signs were there, but I wasn't listening.
I believe coaching helped me avoid a much more serious situation. It gave me the space to explore what I was experiencing, understand what was happening beneath the surface, and develop the discernment to see my situation differently. I began to find clarity in what had felt overwhelming and to recognise what needed to change.
Today, I lead a smaller international climate organisation and have found a balance that allows me to do my best work. I lead differently now — with greater flow, more trust in my intuition, and a deeper understanding of what I need to thrive. I've come to see that meaningful impact doesn't have to come at the expense of my own wellbeing. It can be sustainable.
I bring 15 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector and international leadership to my coaching. I work with people to navigate the opportunities and challenges life brings, explore big ideas and untangle complex challenges. Together, we create the space to reconnect with what matters, uncover your values and purpose, and discover new possibilities.
